What’s in a Number?

Perhaps a word or name…

When playwright William Shakespeare asked the question, “What’s in a name?” in Romeo and Juliet, he was referring to the idea that names themselves are a convention to distinguish things or people, but themselves do not have any worth or meaning.

“What’s in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.”

― William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet

Similarly, you may ask yourself, “What’s in a number?”

We’re not talking about numerology or “angel numbers” here, we’re talking about looking closely at your main business contact number. Maybe there are words or phrases hidden inside your business number which can be used to support your branding, or just make it easier for clients and customers to remember the number!

Put your business phone number to work!

Do a little experiment: Look at the dialing keypad on any phone, look at the triplets of alpha characters on numbers 2–9, and see if any recognizable words can be formed from them!

OK, as you probably figured out after a few seconds, there are way too many combinations to go through without a tool of some kind. Luckily, we found several tools designed and coded with the sole purpose and mission to answer the question, which is also the title of this blog post,

“What’s in a number?”

internetmarketingninjas.com/tools/phone-number-spell

Of course, the “ninjas” built and host this tool to lure you to their site, where they hope to get you as a client, but the tool is free and unfettered to use!
